I'll pass on experiencing that sort of "enchantment." I'd rather have my mind dazzled by the sights and sounds of this celebration than my body shrunken to the size of a thimble.

[With that out of the way, Shu watches Riddle take the throne. He truly is striking, perched in his rightful place, looking down on all the attendees. The way he carries himself is befitting of royalty and captivates the eye. No doubt he'll make a fine ruler one day, if only he can get that explosive temper under control. (His face is also guaranteed to look lovely on a postage stamp.)

He's so busy admiring Riddle's beauty (and his mannerisms, and his clothes, etc.) that it takes a moment for those next words to register. Once they do, however... Shu squints.

It's not that he has a problem with being designated king for the afternoon. Far from it. That suits Shu's bossy personality and delusions of grandeur just fine. But if he is the king of this celebration, and Riddle is Queen... then doesn't that mean the two of them are...?

—ahh, what is he thinking?! He shakes his head, as though trying to rid his mind of those foolish thoughts.

Very well. I'll rely on you to keep me entertained.

[And well-fed. Because the next item on the agenda is, apparently, eating cake. Shu tries to maintain a healthy diet, but he came prepared to indulge himself this once. He wasn't quite prepared for Riddle to shriek so loudly within his vicinity, however, and he winces as a result, mouth opening with the intention of chastising his cute friend. But then the cake rolls out, and Shu forgets all about volume control. He stares at the towering cake appraisingly, with hungry-looking eyes.]

No frosting, hmm? I suppose that's one way to save calories, cut down on sugar, and lead us to better appreciate the taste and texture of the cake itself. It looks quite appetizing; let's cut it into slices.

[Snapping his fingers, he addresses that last line to the students wheeling out the cake. He's a king so he can give commands now, right?]
